Vegan Pain Perdu

Pain Perdu, or Lost Bread, is traditionally made with milk and eggs, but it's not necessary.

Ingredients:
6 slices Stale Bread (I used lightly toasted bread since I had no stale bread)
1 cup Non-Dairy Milk
1 Tbsp Ground Flax Seed
3 Tbsp Water
Powdered Sugar
2 Tsbp Canola Oil/Earth Balance Butter

Directions:
1. Mix ground flax seed with water until gooey. Mix in milk.
2. Heat oil or butter in a frying pan.
3. Dip bread into milk/flax mixture and coat on each side.
4. Fry the bread in oil on each side until brown.
5. Serve with powdered sugar.
